SRINAGAR: CRPF Madadgar Yojana said it is designed to help and assist the rural people living below the poverty line living in the most backward areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement, the CRPF said, “In December 2022 through Madadgar Yojana, applicant Mrityunja Ahmed Lone S/o Ghulam MuhammadLone, Resident Kumru, District-Budgam and Muhammad Maqbool Mir S/o GhulamRasool Mir Resident Batapora, District – Budgam who works as Carpenter. In order to increase thedrill machine, angle grinder, electric wood planer, wood cutter and screw driver, etc., a request was made by submitting applications and documents in 79 battalions.”
According to the campaign running under Madadgar Yojana, Mr. Kishore Kumar, Commandant, 79 Battalion, Mrityunja Ahmed Lone S/o Ghulam Muhammad Lone, R/o Kumru, District – Budgam and Muhammad Maqbool Mir S/o Ghulam Rasool Mir, R/o Batapora, District – Budgam have been given their work by Mr. Kishore Kumar, Commandant, 79 Battalion. To enhance the skills, kit items like drill machine, angle grinder, electric wood planer, wood cutter and screw driver etc. were made available, the statement said.
“79 Battalion, CRPF, Srinagar, has always been working for the welfare of the people, social harmony and development, mainly organizing blood camps, various types of works under civic action, distribution of medicines, flag marches to make people aware about drug addiction. On the occasion, Kishore Kumar, Commandant of 79 Battalion, Vishwa Deep Singh, Second In Command Officer and Abhigyan Kumar, Deputy Commandant, and other personnel of the Corps were present.
