PAMPORE: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and his son were injured after their vehicle met with an accident on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway near Qazigund on Friday morning.
BJP’s District President Pulwama, Mohamad Lateef Bhat and his son, Owais Lateef were injured after the Scorpio vehicle they were traveling in turned turtle near Migrant Quarters in Qazigund.
Lateef, a resident of Patalbagh, Pampore, was on his way to Jammu to attend an official meeting.
Soon after the accident, the father-son duo was shifted to a hospital by police and after treatment, they were discharged. The accident occurred due to the slippery condition of the road. We had a narrow escape.
