Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) has paid rich tributes to the leading religious scholar, preacher and orator Mirwaiz Moulvi Yasin Hamdani on his 29th death anniversary.
The AAC while paying glorious tributes to the late Moulana for his religious leadership through his sermons for more than four decades said Moulana Hamdani was not only a prominent member of his esteemed family but also had very close religious relations with the Mirwaiz Family especially the AAC founder Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Farooq.
Moulana Hamdani along with other contemporary leaders under the leadership of the Shaheed-e-Millat played a valuable role in the movement for Moye Muqaddas (SAW), the AAC said, adding that he always remained in constant touch with the Shaheed-e-Millat.
