SRINAGAR: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Monday expressed deep shock over the demise of veteran Urdu journalist Qasim Sajad who passed away after a brief spell of illness at his residence in Anantnag.
In his condolence message, Bukhari described Sajad as a stalwart Urdu journalist who popularised its use in newspapers through his articles and stories as he was a nimble writer and critique.
“His immense contributions in promoting Urdu language through journalism will be always remembered. His demise has left a void hard to be filled,” he said.
Apni Party President prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul & endurance to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
