SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President and Hon’ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have extended their warm greetings to the people on the annual Urs of the revered Sufi saint Hazrat Syed Qamar-ud-Din Bukhari (RA), popularly known as Qamar Shah Sahab (RA) Ganderbal.
In their message, the duo said that the life and teachings of Hazrat Qamar Shah Sahab (RA) continue to illuminate the path of spirituality, compassion, humility, and selfless service to humanity. They said the saint’s enduring legacy inspires generations to uphold the values of communal harmony, brotherhood, tolerance, and love, which have been the hallmark of Kashmir’s rich Sufi ethos.
They prayed that the auspicious occasion brings peace, prosperity, and harmony to Jammu and Kashmir and serves as a source of blessings for all. They also prayed for the acceptance of the prayers and devotions offered during the sacred Urs and wished the devotees a spiritually fulfilling observance.
