Venue & dates changed
BANDIPORA: The District Bandipora Ball Badminton Association, in collaboration with the J&K Ball Badminton Association and under the sponsorship of the J&K Sports Council, has announced a change in the venue and dates of the District Bandipora Ball Badminton Championship for Boys & Girls (Session 2026–27).
The championship, which was earlier scheduled to be held at International Delhi Public School, Bandipora, on 15–16 June 2026, has been rescheduled due to unavoidable circumstances. The event will now be conducted at SK Stadium, Bandipora, from 19 June to 20 June 2026.
The two-day championship aims to promote the game of Ball Badminton in the district and provide a competitive platform for young athletes to demonstrate their talent and sportsmanship. The tournament will be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Ball Badminton Federation of India (BBFI).
Entry and participation
All affiliated clubs, schools, colleges, and institutes of District Bandipora are invited to participate in the championship. Interested players must submit their entries on or before 18 June 2026 through WhatsApp/SMS at 6006393007 (Organising Secretary).

Photocopy of Aadhaar Card
Two Passport-Size Photographs
No on-spot entries will be accepted.
The draw of fixtures will be conducted on 19 June 2026 at 11:00 AM at the competition venue.
Selection for UT-Level Championship
The championship will also serve as a selection event for identifying talented players who will represent District Bandipora in the forthcoming UT-Level Ball Badminton Championship. Outstanding performers will be given an opportunity to compete at higher levels and showcase their abilities on a larger platform.

Officials of the District Bandipora Ball Badminton Association expressed their commitment towards the development of Ball Badminton in the region and urged all eligible players to participate in large numbers.
