SRINAGAR: In a powerful stride toward a drug-free society, a mega one-day awareness programme under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan was jointly organized by the 132 Bn CRPF “Secure Path” and Shining Star Public High School at Baghi Mehtab, Srinagar.
The event commenced with high energy, seamlessly anchored by talented 10th-grade student hosts, Ms. Ulooma Shabir and Tanzeela.
Delivering the keynote address, eminent resource person S-Umar Bhat provided deep insights into the psychological and social impacts of substance abuse, urging the youth to stay vigilant.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Sh. W.R. Josuah, Commandant of 132 Bn CRPF, delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing collective societal responsibility and youth empowerment.
Following this, a solemn oath ceremony was led by S-Umar Bhat, binding all participants to the anti-drug crusade. The momentum accelerated with a joint plantation drive symbolizing growth and renewal, followed by a massive signature campaign and a drug awareness rally flagged off by the Chief Guest.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, CRPF personnel, and local community members, reinforcing the collective resolve to combat substance abuse.
