Accused sentenced to two months community service
Pampore: Pampore Police, through diligent investigation and effective prosecution conducted by the Prosecuting Officer Pampore, secured a conviction in case FIR No. 309/2026 under Section 355 BNS before the Hon’ble Judicial Magistrate Pampore against accused Yawar Ahmad Malik, son of Ab. Rehman Malik, a resident of Donow Kandimarg, Kulgam.
During the course of proceedings, the prosecution successfully established the case before the Hon’ble Court, which subsequently convicted the accused under law.
While adopting a reformative approach towards sentencing, the Hon’ble Court directed the accused to perform community service under the supervision of Traffic Police Pampore for a period of two months, along with directions for submission of a compliance report before the Court.
