College remembers contributions of Meraj-ud-Din & Nabla Begam
SRINAGAR: Government Women’s College Nawakadal, Srinagar, on Monday held a condolence meeting to mourn the sad demise of its two local fund employees—Mr. Meraj-ud-Din, who passed away on the morning of 6th April, and Miss Nabla Begam, who had passed away a week earlier.
The meeting was presided over by the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Huda Galzai, who expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the two dedicated employees. All teaching and non-teaching staff present on the occasion fondly remembered their valuable contributions to the institution.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Hafizullah, Staff Secretary, described Meraj-ud-Din and Nabla Begam as “humble souls” whose deaths have come as a great shock to the college fraternity. He added that they were dear to everyone due to their kind nature, sincerity, and strong work ethic.
The meeting concluded with a congregational Fateha for the departed souls. The Fateha Khawani and prayers were led by Prof. G. M. Wani.
