SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullahextended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
In his message, Dr. Farooq Abdullah prayed for the acceptance of prayers and fasting and urged people to share the joy of Eid by supporting the underprivileged.
Among others, General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Advisor to Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, senior leaders including Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Abdul Rahim Rather, Muhammad Shafi Uri, Mubarak Gul, Sakina Itoo, Shameema Firdous, along with party MPs, MLAs, and office bearers Provincial Presidents Showkat Mir, Ratan Lal Gupta, State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, Advisors Mushtaq Guroo,and Mudassar Shahmiri, In Charges of various wings, also extended Eid greetings, wishing peace, harmony, and prosperity for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah extended warm greetings to the people on the occasion of Navroz-e-Aalam.
In his message, Dr. Farooq expressed hope that the festival heralds peace, prosperity and well-being for all. He highlighted the cultural and spiritual significance of Navroz as a symbol of renewal, harmony, and optimism, and prayed for happiness and progress in the lives of the people.
Omar Abdullah, while extending his greetings, said that Navroz marks a time of new beginnings and inspires people to work towards unity, compassion, and collective progress. He expressed hope that the occasion strengthens bonds of brotherhood and brings lasting peace and prosperity to Jammu and Kashmir.

In his message, Sagar prayed for the acceptance of the month-long fasting, prayers, and devotion observed during Ramadan. He emphasized the essence of Eid as a festival of compassion, generosity, and sharing, urging people to remember and support the underprivileged sections of society.
He expressed hope that the occasion brings peace, prosperity, and harmony to the people and strengthens the bonds of brotherhood across Jammu and Kashmir.
He also greeted people on the observance of Nawroz saying the festivity underlines resurgence, and new beginnings. He hoped that the day augurs well for increased prospects of peace and prosperity in J&K and Ladakh.
