SRINAGAR: CDSL Investor Protection Fund (CDSL IPF), under its flagship initiative Empowering Our Protectors, conducted an Investor Awareness Programme on Introduction to Capital Market and Depository services for the armed forces at 06 Battalion Jammu & Kashmir Armed Force, Police Control Room, Srinagar.
The session was designed to strengthen financial literacy among armed forces personnel, focusing on building a clear understanding of depository services, their critical role in the securities market, and how they facilitate safe, transparent, and efficient management of investments.
Through interactive discussions and relatable illustrations, complex financial concepts were simplified and linked to real-life financial scenarios. The session helped participants understand how responsible investing and awareness of risks can support their long-term financial planning needs.
