‘Time-bound clearance my top priority’

Srinagar: Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK), Naseer Ahmad Wani on Monday conducted a comprehensive review meeting with all Chief Education Officers (CEOs) of Kashmir Division at the Directorate of School Education Kashmir. The purpose was to assess the current functioning and progress of the School Education Department.
During the meeting, Mr. Wani issued clear directives on key administrative and academic issues, including teacher and non-teaching staff matters, training programs, inspection and monitoring processes, financial management, planning, and overall departmental performance.
Emphasizing administrative efficiency, the Director underscored that timely disposal of files and cases is his highest priority. He categorically stated that no file should face unnecessary delays, and all officers must ensure prompt and effective clearance of pending matters.
The DSEK also reviewed the status of audits, expenditure patterns, the Apex budget, REVEX budget, and other financial aspects. He instructed all concerned officers to facilitate smooth execution of approved projects and ensure proper utilization of funds within the designated timelines, strictly following financial norms and guidelines.
The meeting was attended by Joint Directors Syed Shabir Ahmad, Kishore Kumar, and Muhammed Mushtaq; Personnel Officer Dr. Iqbal Hussain Mir; Chief Accounts Officer Zahoor Ahmad Khanday; all Chief Education Officers of Kashmir Division; and other senior officials of the department.
