Functionaries present comprehensive activity report
SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah Tuesday chaired an important meeting with the party’s central zone functionaries, legislators, and office bearers at the party headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha, Srinagar.
The meeting, convened by Central Zone President Ali Muhammad Dar, included detailed deliberations on a range of key matters. Provincial President Showkat Ahmad Mir briefed the Party President on the ongoing activities and initiatives being carried out across various districts and the province.
Discussions focused extensively on the party’s continued public outreach programme, organizational affairs, and other pressing public and party-related issues. Dr. Farooq Abdullah emphasised the need for sustained engagement with the people and strengthening the party at all levels.
Meanwhile, National Conference President expressed profound grief over the passing of noted trader and prominent social figure Mir Ghulam Hassan of Chattabal.
In his condolence message, Dr. Farooq said the departed was known for his uprightness, social commitment, and positive role in the society. He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
Dr. Farooq Abdullah also extended heartfelt sympathies to the Mir and Hamadani families, praying for strength to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
