SRINAGAR: The Court of the Special Mobile Magistrate (Traffic), Srinagar presided over by Mr Touseef Ahmad Magray has achieved a record milestone in virtual traffic challan disposal and fine recovery, demonstrating its firm commitment to enhancing road safety, enforcing traffic regulations, and ensuring swift judicial processing.

From September 2024 to November 17, 2025 (a period of 14 months approximately), the court has disposed of a total of 2,10,117 challans, marking one of the highest disposal figures recorded in the district’s traffic enforcement history. It has recovered fines amounting to ₹7,07,06,850 reflecting an unprecedented level of compliance and successful adjudication.

This accomplishment underscores the court’s dedication to efficient case management, timely disposal, and strengthened coordination with traffic enforcement agencies, ensuring that violators are held accountable and that road discipline is improved across Kashmir.

Speaking on the achievement, the Special Mobile Magistrate (Traffic) Srinagar Mr Touseef Ahmad Magray emphasized that the results were made possible through the sustained efforts of the judicial staff, traffic police, and increased public awareness regarding traffic rules and payment of fines through Online Mode.
