Pulwama: A 23-year-old youth died of electrocution while working on a high-density plantation project in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday, officials said.
An official said the youth sustained a severe electric shock during installation work at Trich village of Kakapora area in Pulwama today.
He said the youth was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
He was later identified as Uzair Gulzar (23), son of Gulzar Ahmad, a resident of Trich Pulwama.
Meanwhile, Police have taken up investigations into the incident.
