Jammu: In the first round of counting, the National Conference (NC) has taken a lead of 624 votes over the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
NC’s Aga Syed Mehmood has secured 1,152 votes, while PDP’s Muntazir Mehdi has polled 528 votes.
An AIP-backed candidate, Nazir Ahmad Khan, is close behind the PDP candidate with 508 votes, while independent candidate Jibran Dar has secured 208 votes—(KNO)
