HAJIN: To promote women’s participation in sports, IA Traders on Monday organised a women’s exhibition cricket match at Hajin Sports Ground.
The match was played between Bandipora Knight Riders and Srinagar Knight Riders, showcasing remarkable talent and enthusiasm from both teams.
The event was graced by SDPO Hajin Manzoor Ahmad, SHO Hajin Qaiser Ahmad, Asim Aijaz, and Irfan Ahmad, owner of IA Traders.
Speaking on the occasion, SDPO Hajin Manzoor Ahmad said that women’s active participation in sports, particularly cricket, is an important step toward achieving gender equality and empowerment.
He appreciated the organisers for providing a platform to women athletes and encouraged more such initiatives in the future.
