SRINAGAR: The Election Commission of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), after deliberating on the communication received from the DC Srinagar Office, has announced that the Executive Committee Elections 2025–27 will be held on Monday, 6th October 2025.
The rescheduled polling will take place at the Kashmir Government Arts Emporium (Near GPO), Srinagar, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The elections will be conducted under the overall supervision of the DC Srinagar and the KCCI Election Commission, with polling and counting observers drawn from various government departments and banks. Counting of votes will be conducted on the same day after the conclusion of polling.
The polling for the Executive Committee Elections was originally scheduled for 22nd September 2025 but was deferred as per the directive of DC Srinagar’s Office Letter No. DCS/ADC(PS)/Misc/2025-26/6084-92 dated 20th September 2025.
KCCI urges all eligible voters to carry a valid KCCI Membership Identity Card, valid up to 31st March 2026, for verification at the polling station to ensure a smooth and transparent voting process.
