Jammu: An army personnel lost his life in an accidental grenade blast in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday evening, officials said.
The soldier was on sentry guard duty at a post inside a camp in the Surankote area when the grenade reportedly went off due to his mishandling around 7.45 pm, they said.
They said the trooper died on the spot.
