FCIK congratulates new leadership
SRINAGAR: The Chamber of Industrial Entrepreneurs Association (CIEA), Industrial Estate Zakura, has elected a new team of office bearers for 2025–27.
Prominent industrialist Shabir Ahmad Shah has been elected President in a direct contest. Other elected office bearers include Zahoor Ahmad Shawl (Vice President), Sehar Mushtaq Shah (General Secretary), Muzamil Hayat Shah (Joint Secretary), Manzoor Ahmad Shahdad (Secretary Finance), and Mohammed Usman Shah (Publicity Secretary). Veteran industry leader M. D. Reshi, former Secretary General of FCIK, has been elected Speaker.
The Federation of Chambers of Industries Kashmir (FCIK) in a statement congratulated the new leadership and hailed the free, fair, and transparent elections, describing them as a model of democratic practice and a reminder for other industrial estate associations to hold timely polls.
FCIK also lauded outgoing President Mohammed Rafique and his team for their dedicated service and steady leadership through challenging times.
Expressing confidence in the new leadership, FCIK President Shahid Kamili said he looks forward to their role in strengthening entrepreneurship, upholding democratic values, and advancing sustainable industrial growth across Kashmir.
