Ganderbal: Continuous rains triggered fresh landslides at Bajri Nallah on Zojila Pass today, forcing the closure of the vital Srinagar-Leh highway and disrupting traffic between Kashmir and Ladakh.
Officials said men and machinery have been pressed into service to clear the debris, but heavy rainfall is hampering the restoration work.
“The highway shall remain closed for vehicular movement till the clearance operation is completed,” they said.
