Srinagar: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg on Wednesday said that all educational institutions in Kashmir division will remain closed tomorrow (04.09.2025) in view of adverse weather conditions.
In a post on X, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir said: “In view of adverse weather conditions, all educational institutions in Kashmir shall remain closed tomorrow on 04.09.2025 as a precautionary measure”.
Meanwhile, all government and private schools across Jammu Division will remain closed till September 5, 2025, in view of continuous heavy rains and the weather alert issued by the IMD.
According to an order issued by the Directorate of School Education Jammu, the decision has been taken to ensure the safety of students and staff as several areas face the risk of landslides, flash floods, and severe waterlogging. The order further states that online classes should be conducted wherever possible to maintain continuity of education.
