SRINAGAR: As part of the nationwide celebration of Independence Day on August 15, 2025, across India, a rally was organized from August 12 to August 15, 2025, under the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign to foster patriotic spirit and promote unity among the local public and civilians.
On Tuesday, the rally was conducted from Clock Tower Lal Chowk to Pratap Park and back at 8:30 AM. The event aimed to inspire patriotism and strengthen communal bonds through active participation.
The rally saw enthusiastic participation from officers, Sub-Inspectors, personnel from 132 Bn, A/93 Bn, SDPO Kothibagh and his staff, SHOs of Kothibagh and Maisuma along with their teams, media personnel, NGOs from Lal Chowk, as well as school children from Tyndale Biscoe and Mallinson schools.
The large turnout and spirited participation made the event a grand success, contributing significantly to the overall celebration of this important national occasion. The primary goal was to encourage the public to actively participate in patriotic initiatives and to spread awareness about the importance of the national flag and its significance in fostering unity and national pride.
