AWANTIPORA: Continuing its community health outreach, the Centre for AYUSH Science, Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), organized a free medical camp at Aghanjipora, under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan.
The beneficiaries mostly women received free consultations, health checkups, medicines, and guidance on preventive care. Medical experts addressed a range of common ailments, including joint pain, respiratory issues, digestive disorders, anaemia, and general fatigue.
Dr. Arsheed A. Ganaie, Coordinator of the Centre for AYUSH Science IUST, said such initiatives reflect IUST’s dedication to delivering affordable, healthcare to underserved communities. “We are encouraged by the community’s response and remain committed to continuing such outreach”, he further said. Local residents appreciated this initiative to promote traditional and alternative medicine systems for better public health outcomes.
