GANDERBAL: The 26th District Sqay Championship Ganderbal concluded on Saturday at HKMC Institute Manigam, with approximately 472 students from various clubs and schools across the district participating in the event.
The occasion was graced by Additional SP Ganderbal, Parwaiz Ahmad, who served as the chief guest. Ghulam Hassan, District President BJP and Chairman of HKMC, was the special guest. Additionally, Owais Ahmad, Chairman of Rainbow Kids Institute, and Safiya Rashid, Vice President of Ganderbal Sqay Association, attended as guests of honor.
The championship was marked by great enthusiasm among the participants, who displayed their exceptional talent and skills in the sport. The top-performing players will now represent District Ganderbal at the UT-level championship scheduled for August.
The event was a grand success, with organizers expressing gratitude for the support and participation of all stakeholders.
In the team rankings, Rainbow Kids School Wussun secured third place, MB Education Institute finished second, and HKMC Institute Manigam clinched the overall first position, earning 21 gold, 29 silver, and 37 bronze medals.
