Srinagar: In wake of the prevailing situation, the government on Thursday said that all schools, colleges and universities across Jammu and Kashmir will remain closed on May 09 and 10.
The decision, according the government, has been taken as a precautionary measure.
Kashmir University notified for the information of all concerned that class work at Main Campus and all satellite campuses of the University of Kashmir shall remain suspended on May, 09.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) Education Minister Sakina Itoo said: “All schools, colleges and universities in J&K to remain closed on 9th & 10th May as a precautionary measure. Stay safe”.
Officials have urged the public to stay alert and cooperate with the administration during this period of heightened tension.
