SRINAGAR: Anjuman-e-Auqaf Jamia Masjid on Saturday announced that the first phase of the Jama Masjid lights illumination project has been successfully completed during the blessed month of Ramzan. The project aims to enhance the spiritual atmosphere of the historic mosque and provide a serene environment for the countless worshippers who visit the mosque year round.
The project was inaugurated when Mirwaiz Umar Farooq switched on the lights after Maghrib prayers on Friday, amidst the presence of devotees.
Anjuman-e-Auqaf extends its heartfelt gratitude to all contributors and staff members whose support made this endeavor possible. “May this illumination reinforce the enduring faith and devotion of the people of Kashmir to Allah and inspire further efforts in his service,” it said.
