SRINAGAR: Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Sunday expressed grief and sorrow over the extensive damage caused by a devastating fire in the Sonamarg market on Saturday evening.
In his statement, Altaf Bukhai said, “The devastating fire in Sonamarg has caused extensive damage, which is deeply distressing. I extend my heartfelt sympathies to the victims. Thankfully, there was no loss of life in this tragic incident. However, those affected have suffered immense losses, which is truly heartbreaking.”
Urging authorities to provide compensation to the fire victims, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said, “The rehabilitation process must begin soon, and the administration should not waste any time in providing assistance and adequate compensation to the victims so they can rebuild their businesses as quickly as possible.”
