GANDERBAL: In anticipation of a VVIP visit to the Z-Morh tunnel on January 13, 2024, the Executive Engineer Sub Transmission, Sub Division Ganderbal, has issued directives to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the tunnel.
According to the instructions, the power supply on the 33kV Kangan-Surfraw Line, which feeds the Z-Morh Tunnel, must be maintained without any interruptions from January 11, 2024, to January 13, 2024.
The Executive Engineer Sub Transmission, Sub Division Ganderbal, has been entrusted with the responsibility of guaranteeing a stable power supply to the tunnel during the specified period. The official has been directed to take all necessary measures to prevent any power outages or disruptions during VVIP visit.
The Z-Morh tunnel, a vital infrastructure project, is a significant connectivity link between the Kashmir Valley and the Ladakh region will be inaugurated on January 13 Z-Morh tunnel on the Srinagar-Sonamarg road to make Sonamarg an all-weather tourist destination.
