SRINAGAR: The Traders Association of Lal Chowk recently held a constructive meeting with the Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Baduriya to deliberate on pressing concerns impacting the business community.
The delegation, led by Association President Mohammad Iqbal Khan, highlighted several critical issues, including the timely completion of ongoing development works under the Srinagar Smart City project, resumption of public transport through Lal Chowk, completion of the long-delayed Amira Kadal Footbridge, and other issues.
The Divisional Commissioner assured the delegation that these matters would be addressed on priority. He directed the concerned departments to expedite their efforts and ensure that the issues are resolved in a time-bound manner, the Association said in a statement issued here.
Key members of the Traders Association who participated in the meeting included Mohammad Saleem Bhat, General Secretary; Surjeet Pal Singh Rattan, Vice President; and Arif Ahmad Zarqoob, Executive Member. The association expressed its gratitude to Divisional Commissioner for his proactive approach and commitment to resolving these issues.
