JAMMU: A delegation of National Conference (NC) District Presidents met with Dr Farooq Abdullah, President of the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference and former Chief Minister of J&K, at his Jammu residence and extended their heartfelt congratulations on his completion of the sacred pilgrimage of Umrah.
The delegation, comprising District Presidents from across Jammu Province, including Raghbir Singh Manhas District President Jammu Rural A, Naresh Bittu District President Jammu Rural B, Sunil Verma District President Udhampur, Ramparshotam District President Udhampur Rural, Sham Narian Mehta District President Kathua Rural, Sudagar Gupta District President Samba expressed their joy and pride at Dr. Farooq Abdullah’s spiritual journey. They lauded his leadership and commitment to the party and the people of J&K.
During the interaction, Dr Farooq thanked the delegation for their warm wishes and urged them to channel their energy toward strengthening the party at the grassroots level. He emphasized the need for unity and strategic preparation for the upcoming Panchayat elections, highlighting the crucial role of these elections in empowering rural communities and reinforcing democracy.
“We must connect with the people, address their concerns, and showcase our vision for a progressive and inclusive Jammu & Kashmir,” Dr Farooq said, motivating the delegation to intensify their outreach efforts.
