Srinagar: The government on Monday allocated districts to ministers for ensuring better coordination, effective implementation of developmental programmes, closer monitoring of public services and other related matters of the districts.
Surinder Kumar Choudhary, Deputy Chief Minister, has been allocated Jammu, Poonch, Anantnag and Shopian .
Ms. Sakeena Masood (Itoo), Minister for H&ME, School Education, Higher Education and Social Welfare, has been allocated Kupwara, Srinagar, Kathua and Samba.
Javed Ahmed Rana, Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, has been allocated Doda, Rajouri, Pulwama and Baramulla.
Javid Ahmad Dar, Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Cooperatives and Election has been allocated Ganderbal, Budgam, Kishtwar and Ramban
Satish Sharma, Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport, Science & Technology, Information Technology, Youth Services & Sports and ARI & Trainings, has been allocated Reasi, Udhampur, Kulgamand Bandipora.
