Srinagar: A decomposed body was found in the Veshu Nalla near the Khudwani area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday.
An official told a news agency that some passersby spotted the body floating in the Nalla and informed the police.
He said that as soon as a police team reached the spot, they shifted the body to a nearby health facility for medico-legal formalities.
He added that the body has been kept in a mortuary until its identification is completed, while further investigation has been initiated.
