Preliminary investigations indicate that the duo was actively involved in the illegal sale of narcotics, particularly targeting local youth.
Cases under the relevant sections of the law have been registered at the respective police stations. Investigations are ongoing, and authorities anticipate further arrests as part of a broader effort to dismantle the narcotics network operating in the region.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police have urged the public to report any drug-related activities or suspicious behavior. Citizens are encouraged to contact their nearest police station or dial 112 to report crimes. Authorities reassured the public that law enforcement will continue to take a strong stance against drug trafficking and those involved in illegal activities.
