SRINAGAR: The Chief Spokesperson of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq on Monday praised the government led by Omar Abdullah for launching initiatives that will benefit the people assuring that all the promises outlined in the party manifesto would be kept.
Sadiq made these remarks during a media briefing at the party headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha, in Srinagar. He commended Omar Abdullah for his proactive approach in implementing corrective measures and providing relief to the public on various fronts. This includes the decision to relax the age limit for JKPSC candidates and restore the November-December academic calendar. He also praised the government for passing the special status resolution in the assembly with an overwhelming majority and the cabinet’s resolution on reinstating statehood to J&K.
Tanvir emphasized that the government is diligently pursuing its agenda, which includes twelve guarantees and 25 promises outlined in the manifesto. “This progress is being made swiftly with the active support of the people. The government is actively pursuing these matters with the Government of India and will soon fulfill all of its promises,” he said.
