Srinagar: The Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vidhi Kumar Birdi on Saturday visited the injured personnel from the police and CAPF who were wounded during an encounter with militants in Khanyar, Srinagar.
In a handout, the police said that during the visit, the IGP expressed concern for their recovery and inquired about their well-being, acknowledging their vital contributions in maintaining peace and security in the region.
He also offered words of encouragement and assured the injured personnel of full support throughout their recovery process, it added.
