GANDERBAL: The Ganderbal Police hosted a reception for students who participated in the Bharat Darshan Tour organized under the Civic Action Program on October 16, 2024.
After a week of exploring various vibrant cities across the country, the students returned safely and were warmly welcomed at the District Police Lines (DPL) Ganderbal by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) DAR, Nazir Ahmad, police said in a statement.
During the reception, police officers congratulated the students for seizing the opportunity to visit significant heritage sites and metropolitan areas. The students expressed their excitement and gratitude to the J&K Police for facilitating the tour, which included visits to major cities like New Delhi and Bangalore.
The students described the tour as a resounding success, noting that it provided them with invaluable experiences, exposure, and confidence. They shared insights about the diverse places they visited, emphasizing the knowledge gained throughout the journey.
The reception ceremony was attended by several senior police officers from the district. In closing, DySP DAR Ganderbal extended his best wishes to all students for a bright future ahead.
