JKPHDA welcomes Omar Abdullah as Chief Minister, Sakina Itoo as Health Minister

SRINAGAR: The J&K Private Hospital & Dialysis Centres Association (JKPHDA) extends a warm welcome to Omar Abdullah as the Chief Minister and congratulates Sakina Itoo on her appointment as the new Health Minister of Jammu and Kashmir.
Faizan Mir, President of the JKPHDA Kashmir division, expressed optimism, stating, “We anticipate that the new health minister will elevate the health sector and are hopeful that her expertise will be a boon in upgrading services and addressing various critical issues facing private hospitals.”
He added, “The private health sector in J&K provides essential medical services to the public while also contributing to the region’s economic development and generating employment opportunities for local youth.”
Sandeep, President of the JKPHDA Jammu division, commented, “The facilities offered by the private health sector have greatly relieved the general public, and the Private Sector has significantly reshaped healthcare in J&K.”
He further emphasized the need for ongoing support from the Hon’ble Health Minister, noting, “She has made a lasting impact during her previous roles in various departments and received the ‘MLA Award’ in 2012 for her contributions to her constituency.”
Dr Masood ul Hassan, General Secretary of the association, stated, “We hold high hopes for the Hon’ble Health Minister and trust that the challenges faced by the private health sector will be addressed effectively.”
