SRINAGAR: In a significant breakthrough, the police in Kupwara recovered 17 mobile phones valued at Rs 2.5 lakhs.
This recovery followed extensive efforts by the Kupwara Police’s technical team, prompted by numerous complaints regarding missing mobile devices, police said in a statement.
“The recovered phones were returned to their rightful owners today at the District Police Office in Kupwara. Recipients expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the District Police’s relentless efforts in recovering their belongings,” the statement said.
The police have assured the public of their ongoing commitment to addressing complaints and maintaining safety and security in the region.
