SRINAGAR: The Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) has extended heartfelt congratulations to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on the formation of the new government.
In a statement issued here, EJAC president Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam expressed optimism that the new leadership will prioritize inclusive policies benefiting all citizens, particularly employees who are essential to the administration’s functioning.
Shabnam urged the government to take concrete steps to address the pressing issues faced by employees across various departments, especially daily wage workers. He said that EJAC is committed to collaborating with the government to tackle these challenges, which significantly impact the workforce and overall governance.
“The EJAC leadership believes that the new government will work diligently to meet the needs and aspirations of all sections of society, fostering growth, prosperity, and harmony throughout Jammu and Kashmir,” the statement said.
