GUND (GANDERBAL): In a significant effort to enhance banking services in rural areas, the State Bank of India (SBI) has inaugurated its new branch at Gund in the Ganderbal district.
The inauguration ceremony was led by Chief General Manager Krishan Sharma, who emphasized the branch’s role as a cornerstone for financial inclusion and customer service excellence in the region.
Officials stated that the new branch aims to provide convenient and accessible banking services to the local population, promoting financial inclusion and stimulating economic growth in the area. They highlighted SBI’s commitment to expanding its presence in rural regions, ensuring that banking services are available at the doorstep of every citizen.
The Gund Ganderbal branch will offer a variety of services, including savings and current accounts, loans and credit facilities, deposit schemes, and digital banking services.
