Mehbooba urges relief to fire victims of Kishtwar

Srinagar: The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president and former chief minister J&K Mehbooba Mufti Tuesday appealed government to extend immediate support and assistance to families affected by devastated fire in Marwah area of Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Taking to micro-blogging site X (formerly Twitter), the PDP president Mehbooba Mufti said: “Seventy residential houses have been gutted by a fire that raged through the village of Marwah Wardwan in Kishtwar. Hope that the government immediately extends support & assistance to these families especially because winter is just around the corner.”
