SRINAGAR: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the admission deadline for its various programs to October 15, 2024. This extension aims to accommodate prospective learners who were unable to complete their admission formalities by the original deadline.
Prospective students are encouraged to take advantage of this additional time, which provides an opportunity for those who may have faced challenges or delays in their applications, the university said in a statement issued here.
IGNOU offers approximately 300 undergraduate and master’s degree programs through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode, as well as 50 online programs. An e-prospectus is available on the IGNOU website for more information.
Regional Director Dr. A.H. Rizvi emphasized the university’s commitment to providing accessible and flexible education opportunities for learners in the Kashmir Division and the UT of Ladakh. He noted that this is the final opportunity for July 2024 admissions, with the extension applicable to all academic programs offered in ODL or online learning modes, except for semester-based and certificate programs.
