Pulwama: GO visits polling stations in 35-Rajpora Constituency

PULWAMA: Khartade Kalicharan Sudama Rao, the General Observer for 35-Rajpora Assembly Constituency Friday conducted a thorough inspection of several polling stations across the constituency, as part of the ongoing preparations for the Legislative Assembly Elections 2024.
The General Observer visited various polling stations in Lassipora, Achan A, Achan B, Panzran, Patipora, Rakh Children, Nowpora Payeen and Armulla. He reviewed the preparedness at each polling station, including infrastructure, accessibility and security arrangements.
He interacted with officials to ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place for a smooth and efficient voting process on Election Day, scheduled for 18th September 2024.
The visit underscores the Election Commission’s commitment to ensuring free, fair and transparent elections in the region.
Meanwhile, the General Observer for Rajpora Assembly Constituency (AC), Khartade Kalicharan Sudama Rao visited the Strong Room on Friday to review the ongoing commissioning process ahead of the Legislative Assembly Elections 2024.
During the visit, the General Observer conducted a thorough inspection of the Strong Room and assessed the arrangements in place for securing election materials and electronic voting machines (EVMs).
He emphasized the need for stringent security measures and adherence to the guidelines provided by the Election Commission of India to ensure a transparent and efficient electoral process.
The visit highlights the Election Commission’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and security in the election process.
