SRINAGAR: The District Budgam Ball Badminton Championship 2024-25, organized by the District Budgam Ball Badminton Association in collaboration with the J&K Ball Badminton Association, concluded successfully at the Green View Public School in Magam, Budgam.

The two-day event, held on August 7th and 8th, 2024, saw a massive turnout of 145 players from schools, clubs, institutes, and colleges across the district. The championship was marked by intense competition, with teams showcasing their skills and dedication to the sport.

The chief guest for the event was Mr. Farooq Ahmad Paul, a lecturer in physical education at the Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School in Magam, Budgam. The guest of honour was Mr. Mukhtar Ahmad Wani, principal of the Green View Public School in Magam. The district secretary presented medals and certificates to the winners and runners-up of the tournament.

The successful conclusion of the championship was a testament to the efforts of the organizers and participants alike.
