Jamia Millia Islamia opens admission for skill-based short-term courses

NEW DELHI: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has announced the commencement of admissions for a range of skill-based short-term courses through its Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE). These courses will provide participants with practical skills and knowledge in various high-demand fields, enhancing their employability and professional capabilities.
The registration process for these courses is now open and will continue until August 18. Candidates are encouraged to apply by the deadline to secure their spots.
The skill-based short-term courses offered in JMI include digital marketing basics, performance marketing, data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning, ethical hacking, cyber security, audio and video Editing, tailoring and embroidery (basic and advanced), beautician training (basic and advanced), bakery training (basic and advanced), and UI/UX designs.
Eligibility Criteria
The courses are open to individuals who have completed their higher secondary education (Class 12) or equivalent. Some courses may have additional prerequisites or recommended prior knowledge. For example, courses like data science, AI and ML, and ethical hacking might require a basic understanding of mathematics and programming.
