Srinagar: An unidentified Militant was killed in overnight gunfight in Mudergham area of Kulgam district on Sunday.

A top police officer said  that one militant body has been Sighted at Madergam area of Kulgam this morning. His identity is being ascertained.

The search operation in the area is still underway, the officer added.

Meanwhile in another operation at Chinnigam, four militants and army soldier were killed, while as operation is still underway
