Amarnath Yatra: PDD Dept illuminates Baltal track

BALTAL: In a significant development, the Power Development Department (PDD) has installed lights along the Baltal track, leading to the Amarnath Cave Shrine, ensuring a safe and festive experience for the devotees. The newly installed lights have given a festive look to the area, drawing appreciation from the devotees.
The move is aimed at facilitating the smooth and secure movement of pilgrims, especially during the early morning and late evening hours when the track is usually dimly lit. The installation of lights is expected to reduce the risk of accidents and injuries, providing a sense of relief to the devotees.
Devotees who have undertaken the yatra have appreciated the efforts of the PDD department in ensuring their safety and comfort. “The installation of lights along the Baltal track has made a significant difference. We feel safer and more comfortable walking on the track, even in the early morning hours,” said Rohan, a devotee from Delhi.
Another devotee, Sarita from Bengaluru, echoed similar sentiments. “The festive look of the area has added to the spiritual ambiance, making our yatra even more memorable. We appreciate the efforts of the PDD department and the local administration in making our yatra a success.”
The devotees have particularly appreciated the role of PDD circle Ganderbal in ensuring the installation of lights along the Baltal track. “The circle PDD Ganderbal team has done an excellent job in installing the lights. Their efforts have made a significant difference in our yatra,” said a group of devotees from Hyderabad.
