HAJIN: Dr G.M. Puju, the Chief Education Officer (CEO) of Bandipora, conducted an inspection tour of various schools in the Hajin Zone on Friday.
During his visit, Dr Puju assessed several institutions, including PM Shri Government Middle School Gulshanabad, Government Girls High School Hajin, GPS Paribal, High School Mukhdamyari, PS Rakh Mohalla, GMS Rakh Mohalla, PS Wani Mohalla, MS Eidgahpora and other schools in the area.
He thoroughly checked the Mid Day Meal program, ensuring that meals were prepared and served to students according to the prescribed menu. The daily consumption register for the Mid Day Meal program was found to be properly maintained.
Dr Puju also evaluated the overall sanitary conditions of the schools, which were satisfactory. At Government Girls School Hajin, he examined the academic performance of the students and found it to be commendable.
The CEO instructed the in-charge head teachers and teachers to ensure maximum attendance of students in their respective schools, emphasizing the importance of regular attendance for better academic outcomes.
Meanwhile, the leaders of JK Teachers Forum /J&K EJAC led by Spokesperson Mir Bashir Ahmad held a detailed meeting with the Chief Education Officer and raised several issues pertaining to the development of schools in the District Bandipora.
