SRINAGAR: Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq on Tuesday visited Bohri Kadal in Srinagar’s Shahr-e-Khaas to express solidarity with the families affected by the recent fire.
He urged the administration, business community, youth and officials of the historic Bazaar Masjid Committee to make collective efforts for the reconstruction of the mosque and the rehabilitation of the affected families.
Expressing deep sorrow over the devastating fire that reduced the historic Bazaar Mosque and dozens of houses and shopping complexes to ashes, Mirwaiz said that our hearts are saddened by this destruction. Mirwaiz assured the affected people that whatever help is possible will be provided to them for their rehabilitation and restoration of the mosque.
